Get Ready for Legacy Building Weekend 2026!

Friday 8th – Sunday 10th May

We are excited as we prepare for our upcoming annual Legacy Building Weekend. Since its inception in 2023, this has become one of the highlights of our calendar—something we all look forward to. It is a significant time that helps focus and unite us around a tremendous Kingdom purpose.

For those who have recently joined us and may be unfamiliar with our Legacy Building Vision 2032, and for all of us to be reminded of the importance of the vision and our strategy, please take time to review the information provided, including the dates and times for the weekend.

We want to encourage everyone—if you haven’t already—to begin preparing your heart, asking God to speak and move powerfully in your life and across New Horizon during this special weekend together.

God bless,
Senior Pastor Andy Dilnot

Our 2032 Vision

At New Horizon, we have a clear and compelling vision for our current premises. However, it is important to emphasise that our Legacy Building Vision 2032 is just one aspect of our broader church vision. While it is not the entirety of our mission, it plays a vital role in shaping our future.

As the family of God, we understand that families need a place to call home—a foundation where life can flourish and faith can grow. That is why this vision is so significant.

Whether you have been part of this journey for many years or have recently joined us, I warmly invite you to rise up, engage, and be part of our Legacy Building Vision Weekend 2032. Together, let us build for the future.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” — Isaiah 60:1–3

 24 Hours Prayer EVENT

The building will be open for 24 hours, beginning Friday 8th May at 4:30pm and concluding Saturday 9th May at 4:30pm. We invite everyone to dedicate this time to seeking God’s presence and direction as we prepare our hearts for what lies ahead.

During this period, the main auditorium will be open for both quiet personal prayer and corporate prayer. Tables and chairs will be set out with prayer focus points to help guide intercession for specific areas. Notepads will also be available for anyone who wishes to record thoughts, impressions, or prophetic words they feel the Lord is speaking.

At times, reflective worship music will be played in the background. On occasion, one of our musicians may also play live instrumentally, although this will not follow a set programme.

Our young people will be participating on the Friday evening. In addition, our children will have a fun and engaging programme in the Legacy room on Saturday from 10:30am to 12:00pm. This will allow parents to drop off their child(ren) and spend time in the main hall in prayer.

If you would like more information about these activities for youth and children, please speak to the relevant department leaders.

For safety and security reasons—particularly during the night hours—we will be operating an online booking system. Everyone will be required to book a time slot in advance.

Our goal is to see every hour of the 24-hour period covered in prayer, with the hope and expectation that each slot will not only be filled, but that multiple people will gather to pray during each hour.

As you’ll see, to make this 24 hours of prayer easier to organise, we’ve divided the day into 3-hour time slots. Please choose a slot that works for you—there’s no need to stay for the full 3 hours. You’re very welcome to come for a shorter time, or to book more than one slot if you’d like to stay longer.

24 HOUR FASTING EVENT

Running alongside our prayer event, we will also be holding a 24-hour fasting event. In biblical teaching, fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline often associated with breakthrough, miracles, and the release of God’s power into situations.

We would love to invite you to join us in this fast. The 24-hour fast will begin on Saturday 9th May at 12:30pm, and we will break the fast together the following day at our special bring-and-share meal.

It is important to emphasise that there is no pressure to participate. This is a personal decision between you and God.

If you have any medical conditions or concerns, we strongly advise seeking medical advice before fasting.

United Vision Service

Gather with us on Sunday morning, 10th May, from 10:00am to 11:30am for a dynamic and unifying worship service. Let’s come together in faith and expectation as we cast the vision for 2032.

2032 Vision Worship Night

End the weekend with an inspiring night of worship and spiritual renewal on Sunday evening from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

2032 Legacy Vision Offering

As one of our key vision aims is to one day own our premises outright, in 2023—alongside the launch of our Legacy Vision—we also launched a Legacy Vision Building Fund. This is a restricted fund set up solely for the purpose of allowing anyone who desires, in addition to their normal giving, to contribute directly to the Legacy Fund.

We hold an annual Legacy Vision offering where people have the opportunity to give. While some choose to give on a monthly basis, others have chosen to leave property and possessions towards this vision, similar to those who leave legacies to organisations such as the Red Cross and other charities.

It is very important to emphasise that there is no pressure to participate. This is a personal decision between you and God.

During our morning service and Sunday evening worship night, we will receive a special Legacy Vision offering. On Sunday 10th May, special giving envelopes will be available if you wish to give.

Online giving is also available—please click the link below for more details.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our pastors or a member of our finance team.

If you’d like to give online, simply click on the giving link provided below, select “Fund,” and choose Legacy Vision 2032. From there, you can easily make your donation.
